July 22, 2025 WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Angela Alsobrooks and Chris Van Hollen (both D-Md.) introduced the Jordan McNair Student Athlete Heat Fatality Prevention Act in the Senate. U.S. Congressman Kweisi Mfume (Md.-07) introduced the companion legislation in the United States House of Representatives.
