ANNAPOLIS, MD – Today, Senator Alsobrooks (D-Md.) toured the United States Naval Academy (USNA) with Vice Admiral Yvette M. Davids – U.S. Naval Academy Superintendent, Commander Ben Newhart – Deputy Director of the Navy Senate Liaison Office, Lieutenant Kimberly Walker – Navy Senate Liaison Office, liaison in-training, Lieutenant Commander Christina ‘CJ’ Johns – Legislative Liaison of the Navy Office of Legislative Affairs, and dozens of Maryland midshipmen. 

“It was a pleasure to kick off my week meeting with midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy here in Annapolis,” said Senator Alsobrooks. “We are a stronger nation and state because of the service, commitment, and heroism of the students, faculty, and staff at the Naval Academy – I am so proud to represent them in the Senate.”
