WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Senator Alsobrooks (D-Md.) joined Senator Warren (D-Mass.) and Banking Committee Democrats in hosting a forum on “The Trump-Musk Attack on American Consumers.”
In the forum, Senator Alsobrooks had the chance to ask questions to Stacey McCall, a Marylander and retired Army veteran of 20 years, who was being forced to pay for a Toyota vehicle she couldn’t drive until the CFPB stepped in.

“[The billionaires] are getting what they paid for — they are raiding our government. And what is so sinister about what they are doing is while they run amok — and they are really hoping to profit from our government — then they want to leave people like Ms. McCall, who is my constituent, in a lurch,” said Senator Alsobrooks.
