May 20, 2025 WASHINGTON, DC –  In case you missed it, Axios released a story yesterday outlining how RFK and the Trump Administration’s cuts are putting current and future cancer patients at risk.  Senator Alsobrooks released the following statement:  “Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States. But that clearly isn’t stopping RFK from slashing cancer research at the NIH.
