July 30, 2025 WASHINGTON, DC – Tonight, Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.) voted for Joint Resolutions of Disapproval, S.J.Res 34 and S.J.Res.41, to block sales of 1,000 pound bombs and automatic rifles to Israel in light of the devastating humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Earlier this week Senator Alsobrooks joined more than 40 Senate Democrats in calling for a large-scale expansion of humanitarian aid in Gaza and to resume all diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire and end the war.
