WASHINGTON, DC – In case you missed it, Axios released a story yesterday outlining how RFK and the Trump Administration’s cuts are putting current and future cancer patients at risk.
Senator Alsobrooks released the following statement:
“Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States. But that clearly isn’t stopping RFK from slashing cancer research at the NIH. These cuts will impact us for decades to come – and will be especially felt by the families of that child with cancer, by the children of that mother suffering from breast cancer, by all of us praying for a cure – because cancer impacts us all. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — RFK must resign now.”
